Double Happy Imperial IPA

Tasting Note
Before the advent of the fun police we had bland beer and firecrackers galore. Our favourite crackers were Double Happy’s which we put to good use on our Guy Fawkes night sojourn to blow up the headmaster’s letterbox. We restrained ourselves with this double IPA, keeping it to 8% but giving it a broad English malt palate which holds the fine but lengthy bitterness that binds these 3 elements together. This beer displays a lifted intense spicy grapefruit and citrus nose that drags you into the glass.
